A Wee Bit of Whisky

We are definitely not Scotch drinkers, but one does not visit the Scottish Highlands without taking a little trip down the Whiskey Trail. So, that's how we spent our afternoon. It was interesting to visit a couple of distilleries, but it was also a gorgeous drive. We truly had a wonderful time!

I loved this poster in the Glenlivet distillery

The Whisky Cake was the highlight of the day for most of our group

Beautiful old warrior's cemetery we happened by

Whisky barrels are sort of the same as statues

Seeing the Highland Cattle was one of my goals for our visit to Scotland. Check.
(Thought of our sweet friends, the Dyers, and their small herd back in Texas)
